Heritable skills and knowledges

December 22, 2012

Parents and family setup

Chose 2, 1 for your father and 1 for your mother. If you live in a two parent home you inherit a mix of skills, if you live in a single parent home you get most/all of your parents skills. A good mix of skills is suggested, and low-moderate parties and moderate-advanced parties are suggested. You never know just what you’ll need or who will have a quest for you to do, and you may need an obscure skill to do it, after all.

Basic – levels 1 to 25, Moderate – level 25 to 65, Advanced level 65 to 100 (for skills and talents). Mortals cannot exceed 100 in a skill without divine aid or an empowering object or blessing which allows it either permanently or temporarily.

Basic X – cheap end of the cash value spectrum, Moderate X – middle range of the cash value spectrum, Advanced X – uppermost end of the cash value spectrum (for objects and wielding skills)

Low level rung: the ‘standard NPC villager’ builds. Moderate level rung: The ‘somewhat adventurous NPC’ builds, Advanced level rung: The direct warrior or direct magic user builds.
